Technology fails in organisations for reasons that have nothing to do with technology. A system is bought and nobody is trained on it. A platform is built and nobody supports it after launch. A team is trained and there is no system worth applying the skill to. A community is given devices and no programme to make them useful.

Each of those failures looks like a different vendor's problem. They are not. They are one problem — the gap between capability and infrastructure — and closing it requires one accountable organisation rather than four specialists blaming each other.

So Vida ICT grew into four pillars that share a delivery team, a documentation standard and a single point of accountability. Vida Technologies builds and runs the systems. Vida Academy trains the people who use and maintain them. Vida Impact extends both to communities and institutions that cannot buy them commercially. Vida Innovation Hub helps new ventures turn the same capability into a business.

Where we work

We are based in Ikenegbu Extension, Owerri — in the South East of Nigeria, deliberately. Talent here is plentiful and opportunity is not, and building a serious technology company outside Lagos turned out to be an advantage: we hire for capability rather than proximity, and we understand what it takes to deliver on infrastructure that is less forgiving than what a client in London or Toronto assumes.

That experience travels. We deliver across Nigeria and into Ghana, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States — remotely by default, on site where the work genuinely requires it.

What we will not do

We will not sell you a system your team cannot maintain. We will not quote a timeline we know is fiction to win the work. We will not pad a scope with features nobody asked for, and we will not keep documentation hostage to a support contract. When we are not the right partner for something, we say so and point you somewhere better — it costs us a project and saves you a year.
