Building and running the digital infrastructure of a 27-year engineering leader

The challenge

A firm with nearly three decades of field heritage was presenting itself online like a company half its size. International partners and joint-venture counterparties assess capability from the website and from how fast a firm responds when something breaks. Neither was working in the company's favour, and internal IT issues were being absorbed by survey engineers who should have been on site.

What we did

We worked through this in stages, starting with what had to be true before anything else could be built.

1. Rebuilt the corporate website around project evidence rather than generic service claims, with case documentation structured for international due-diligence reviewers.
2. Put the whole IT estate under a managed support agreement with a named engineer and agreed response times, so survey staff stopped acting as the helpdesk.
3. Standardised endpoints, backup and access control across the Owerri office and field teams.
4. Established a quarterly technology review so infrastructure decisions follow the project pipeline instead of reacting to failures.
